Darrell Honeycutt
Darrell started playing the alto sax in 1969 at the age of ten. His inspiration was his idol,
"Boots Randolph."

When Darrell was preparing to enter High School he learned to play the tenor sax and it has
been his primary horn ever since. In 1999 he started playing the flute and eventually added
the baritone and soprano saxophones to his ever expanding repertoire of instruments. He is
currently learning to play trumpet.

His musical favorites over the years have been The Beatles, The Eagles and the Everly
Brothers to name a few.

In 2000, after six months of study and preparation Darrell began playing bagpipes and earned
a position as a piper in the
Shrine Highlanders Pipes and Drum Band. In 2005 he decided to
add keyboards to his collection of instruments.

In 1997, Darrell had the great pleasure of performing with Nashville recording artist "Mr. Easy
Lovin', " Fredde Hart in Milan, Michigan.

Over the past 35 years, Darrell has been in numerous Michigan area Country bands and has
performed with a number of Classic Rock & Oldies bands as well.  He's performed with
